The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values.
The five numbers are: 14.2, 15.1, 16.5, 16.7, 18.0.
The largest number is 18.0.
The smallest number is 14.2.
Range = Largest value - Smallest value
Range = 18.0 - 14.2 = 3.8.
